Rain out Policy: Team will refund percent of game that are not completed because of bad weather.

All Teams must be Registered with BPA. Please register at BPA. This is only a payment option This is done at www.playbpa.com

1- Register your team with BPA National. This is done at www.playbpa.com. If you are an out of state team then please choose Maryland as your state director.

2- After you have paid the BPA fee you will receive a sanction number. Please log-in into your BPA account and enter your rosters. All roster will need to be entered online before the tournament's first game.

4- A mandatory conference call will be done Thursday night May 15, 2008 at 9 pm. 1-605-475-6300 Number Access Code: 261411

All Tournament Games will be played with 2 Hour Time Limit. No Drop dead Time.

All games will be 7 Innings.

New Inning starts at the 3rd out of previous inning. Once the Home Team is ahead after 2:00 the game is over !!

International Tie Break will be used in all extra inning games. The last batter in the lineup of the previous inning will be placed on second base. BPA plays High School Federation Rules.

Coin Flip will determine Home & Visitors for All Pool Games. A team may start with 8 players and add a ninth at any time

Teams must be at assigned field ready to play 1 hour before game time and please remember we WILL start early

Time Breaker for Seeding/placement in your division:

Head to Head
Least Average Runs Allowed per game played
Highest Average Runs Scored per game played
Coin Toss

Results will be posted as soon as the day's games are completed.

The Umpires decision is final. No protest.

Offensive Starting Lineup: A Team may bat 9 players or the entire lineup or anywhere inbetween. Once the number of batters is determined, it must remain for the entire game. An injury or ejection may result in an out if a substitute is not available. A substitute is anyone not placed in the batting order

Defensive Starting Lineup: Any player on the roster may play in any defensive position at any time regardless of being in the order.

Pitching Restrictions: No Pitching Limits. All teams are asked to take care of their arms

Courtesy Runner: Teams may run for the catcher and pitcher. The Courtesy runner must not in the offensive lineup.

BPA National Mercy Rule: 12 runs after 3 innings, 10 runs after 4 innings, 8 runs after 5 innings.

Time Limits are allowed to be changed by tournament director for reason of weather or field conditions.

BPA ~ NSA NATIONAL WEATHER POLICY

No Games Played – Tournament Cancelled due to Weather - 75% to 100% of the tournament entry fee will be refunded. Zone VP or BPA ~ NSA National Office must approve refund if less than 100%.

1 Game Played – Tournament Cancelled after 1 game due to Weather – 50%

2 Games Played - Tournament Cancelled after 2 games due to Weather – No refund is due. Two (2) games played or a combo of a forfeit and a game played - No Refund is due. A game is considered a full game if 4 ½ or 5 innings have been completed. 4 ½ innings if the home team is leading or 5 complete innings if the visitor or home team is leading. If there is a tie after 5 innings and the game/tournament is cancelled due to Weather, it will be considered a tie in the standings with no refund due.

1st Place will receive - Paid berth to BPA Mid Atlantic Regional World Series

2nd Place -4th Place will receive - Unpaid berth to BPA Mid Atlantic World Sereies
